The establishment of Print Art Contemporary marks a new milestone for Hong Kong Open Printshop (HKOP) in 2025. Founded in 2000, HKOP is Hong Kong’s first non-profit printshop that is opened to the community. In 2012, HKOP registered as a charitable organisation. In 2022, Hong Kong Open Press was established with the vision of preserving and promoting the significant history of Hong Kong’s letterpress printing industry.
Print Art Contemporary, operated by HKOP, is committed to fostering international cultural exchange, enhancing the quality, professional standards and artistic expression of local print art, and preserving Hong Kong’s rich print art culture for generations to come.
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented summer interns to support our dynamic arts programming and archival efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the arts, history, and community engagement to gain hands-on experience. A stipend is provided for their contributions.
Internship Period｜7-9 weeks in July-August 2025

Duties
- Assist in organising, documenting, and cataloging archival collections
- Collaborate with the Programme Manager to coordinate exhibitions, events and various projects
- Support education and promotion programmes
- Support the daily operation of an art space

Requirements
- Hong Kong permanent resident
- Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a major in Fine Art, Design, Cultural Management or arts-related programme from a local university
- Interest or experience in art history, archival work, or event planning is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Be a motivated team player and able to work independently
- Be fluent in spoken Cantonese and English
- Possess knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Chinese word processing, knowledge of Adobe software; video editing is a plus)
