About The Project
This project is dedicated to address the intergenerational gap in the craftsmanship of movable types and letterpress printing. Through the research, the project aims to elevate public appreciation for its cultural significance and build a practical handbook for transmitting this intangible cultural heritage. We are seeking passionate individuals to help us revitalize and preserve this art form for the future.

Duties Include

Assist the Project Leader to conduct research and field observations related to movable types and letterpress printing.

Consolidate research materials, manuscripts for the practical handbook, and draft reports.

Provide other research-related assistance.

Requirements

Hong Kong permanent resident and aged 18 or above.

Bachelor’s degree holder or above, preferably majoring in visual art, cultural studies or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in research or arts administration and with knowledge of Hong Kong arts and cultural sector is preferred.

A good team player, able to work under pressure and work independently.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of computer applications, including MS Office and Chinese word processing. Knowledge of Adobe software is a plus.
- Immediate availability and with hands-on experience and good understanding of letterpress printing are preferred.
