Since 1968, Tetsuya Noda has captured many moments in his life with a camera. These moments—his diary—have been the motif of his work for more than 50 years. These fragmentary seconds of light and shadow are transformed by the artist’s meticulously modulated plate-making process and precise preparations. The exhibition showcases 7 images of the printmaker’s daughter. Through the artist’s eyes, we witness the young girl growing up, getting married and becoming a mother. Looking at his works, that span 42 years, is like being embraced by a cloth of enduring love in all its glory and constancy.
